Here at The Art Of Reading Foundation, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. 

Reading is a skill enchanted for every child attending school to be able to apply and initiate properly, but from our perspective point of view inspired thru experience of having the privilege to work together with pupils from grade 8 'secondary schoool' to Matric. Developing their performance skills in performing arts. We fortunately discovered that 6 to 10 pupils currently studing grade 7 at pimary schools around our townships(Khayelitsha, Nyanga, Langa, Gugulethu etc..) cannot fluent read bothe Home and 1st additional language, IsiXhosa having to be their home language and English the universal communicating language.

This organization serves to introduce reading as an art form. It will be challenging the old traditional ways of reading which were being generational reproduced across South African public schools. This was to only allow student or instruct students to read when it is oral reading periods. And students are taught how to read and use gestures when reading. This has contributed to the inability of students from both pre-primary to high school to read fluently. It was of these reasons that this organization has decided to introduce reading as an artform. Where it will be targeting students from primary school, grade 7 to be specific. The organization will be instilling confidence to those students.
